Brandenburg Gate

Click on the photo above to open it in a larger window. Just before we founded OpenICE.Net, we visited Berlin where this famous landmark is located. It's the Brandenburg Gate that once divided East and West Berlin. If you look closely, you'll see that there is actually a large cloth backdrop covering the gate (it was being remodeled) and the backdrop uses a "trick of the eye" to suggest a mouse cursor picking up and moving one of the columns.

But the inscription on the top was what we needed to inspire us to take the plunge and start this business. It translates to, "On the Internet, everything is possible."
